Hey, how is it going? Does anyone have any suggestions of any interesting books to read. Any genre would do as long as it has a good plot, theme and a good style behind it. Give some recomendations of some books that made you think some second thoughts after you read it. Feel free to add in some suggestions. Thanks !
Anything by Tamora Pierce, Jim Butcher, or Mercedes lackey. (All those are fantassy writers. L. E. Modisitt Jr. (I may have misspelled that) has some good books as well, though those tend to be a bit longer. Robert Heinlein is another one, though those are a bit older; he's a scifi writer, though most of his books are social commentaries as much as scifi. Not sure what kind of stuff you like, but maybe that'll give you some ideas. If you want more info about any of these, just ask.
Cool, i'll will check those out over winter break. If you or any other people have other suggestions feel free to write it here. Thanks
If you're into romance and depression, try books by VC Andrews. I've just finished reading Darkest Hours and I thought it was good.
what type of book do you enjoy?? That might help us a little if you like romance jackie collins, danielle steele, Nora roberts. suspense, sidney Sheldon, alistor McClean, robert Ludlum.
I would read anything that will keep me interested. I like books that makes me think. I'm all over the place, i read any genre or author as long as it's interesting. Suggest what any book you enjoyed while you were reading it.
This is my kind of board lol. I love reading, and I'll read pretty much anything, accept for sci fi. Ok so here's my list. Any book by Nora Roberts, (stay away from her J.D. Rob series) a great suspense writer is Harlan Coben, if you want a good private investigator series, try Lawrence Block (his books may be hard to find since a lot of them are old) or George Pelecanos. I just recently read this great book by Kristin Hannah. It's called Magic hour, you should deffinitely try and read it. I also read this great book a few years ago by Linda Howard. It's called Cry No More. I hope I helped. The list could go on much longer, but there's a start for ya :)
